Soulmates does exist!

I was on an adventure of my life

and the people I met along the way were only there in the moment

some left, some stayed

some loved. some hated

I lost myself, left alone and betrayed by the people I loved

I used to walk alone with the fear of having no one around

fear that I will be among those people who made me feel the empty cause of their indecisiveness

I had no idea what it was like to be truly loved

I rejected the people who tried to show me, as society made me wear a blindfold

Ignored the signs coming from that one specific person

I let go of it all, hoping someone would find me sooner

someone that I’d be interested in, but that didn’t happen

people came, used me for their contentment, and left

But that one stayed, patiently

approached me with love in her heart

with all she could to make me feel alive and god knows what more

as we all went our ways, years passed, time was on the run

and taught us things that we never would have imagined happening

made us meet new people, broke us into pieces, and showed the worst reality of life

convinced our minds to accept the damage

the weakened feeling as our bodies are build of mud and a drop of water is going to ruin the perfection of it

left us in the dark tunnel where no thought exceed through

I kept walking until I found a firefly, a firefly that made me follow her and led me out of it

A firefly that was bright as the sun or like stars at night I couldn’t miss this time

Firefly in the form of a human held my hand and walked with me

It was dark, so dark I couldn’t realize until we reached the light

It was her, the one who patiently waited for me, hugged me, and told me it is going to be okay

stayed with me till the end, the time I felt I was in safe hands

What could have gone wrong at that time?

Nothing…

Because I have found my soul mate.

My happy place.
